How does Memories to Digital work?
Scanning your media
The whole process is very simple. Go through all the items that you want to scan and take a look at the guide prices below.
Complete the form on the Request a Quote page and send that to us. We then go finalise the quotation back to you and if you are happy, we then send you directions on how to send the media files to us and a payment link.
Once we have received your media we aim to scan and supply the high res files or video back to you within 10 working days.
We need to take our time doing this as we check every scan for quality.
The form on the Request a Quote page is just a sample to help you out. If you would rather send us an email with your film and photos details (not the items themselves at this stage) please do so to hello@memoriestodigital.co.uk and we can quote you that way too.

VHS Video Tapes
Minimum charge £28.00
Default format we produce is MP4.
Guide prices
VHS digitising £28.00 per hour.
One delivery format is included in the cost of your transfer, download or USB. Additional USB copies £18 per USB.

Slides and photos
Your media will be cleaned of loose dust and scanned at high resolution. Filters are added to remove minor defects and balance the colour, contrast and brightness. Your scanned images will be supplied as JPEG files as a download or on a USB stick.

Slides and photos to 7x5” (177x127mm) £1.70 each
Slides and photos to 10x8” (254x203mm) £3.30 each

Cine film
Transfer from Standard 8mm, Super 8mm, 9.5mm and 16mm with or without sound.
Film is cleaned and repaired as necessary. High definition frame by frame scan. Blank and poor quality sections edited out. Colour, brightness and contrast adjustment. Scratch and grain reduction filters added.
Supplied as MP4 to download or on USB.
